While the summer season is a time for holidays and relaxation for many, work continues at full pace across our project sites. Together with our strategic partner Voorwinden Group, we are currently delivering several greenhouse construction projects at various stages of completion. These projects not only reflect the dynamic nature of the horticultural sector but also demonstrate the continued demand for modern, efficient and future-proof growing environments.

At The Valley an impressive greenhouse project covering more than 15 hectares is progressing towards its final phase. While foundation works, drainage infrastructure and steel construction were the primary focus only a few months ago, attention has now shifted to the final construction activities and finishing works. Thanks to the strong collaboration between all parties involved, the project has evolved from a construction site into a modern cultivation facility designed for the future.

At Looye Kwekers Phase 4, the project has also entered its final stage. Following extensive preparation, construction activities and close coordination between all stakeholders, the focus is now on the remaining works and final delivery. An important step in a project that once again contributes to the continued development of this leading tomato producer.

At the same time, our team is making strong progress at Gebr. Vahl, where a modern and future-oriented organic greenhouse is taking shape. This project incorporates specific requirements associated with organic cultivation, including the integrated application of insect netting and the creation of optimal growing conditions to support sustainable production.

Significant progress is also being made at Degubel in Oostkamp, Belgium, where a new strawberry greenhouse covering more than 4 hectares is under construction. Following the successful completion of the foundation and rainwater discharge works, attention has now shifted to the steel construction. Glazing activities are scheduled to begin shortly, bringing the project another step closer to becoming fully operational. For Havecon and Voorwinden Group, this project is yet another example of how we work together to develop modern growing facilities designed for the future.

Our team is also fully engaged at Vissers Plant Innovators. Here, Havecon is responsible for the complete sub construction of a new greenhouse of approximately 6 hectares. Through these activities, we are quite literally laying the foundation for an innovative cultivation facility that will support the further development of high-quality strawberry varieties. This project demonstrates the combination of craftsmanship, thorough preparation and specialized greenhouse construction expertise.

Important milestones are also being achieved internationally. At Flora Pack, a greenhouse project covering more than 2 hectares has entered its final phase. While the steel structure and glazing previously formed the main focus of the construction process, current activities are centered on the finishing works and preparing the facility for operation. The project showcases how design, engineering and execution come together to create a modern growing environment and once again highlights the strength of international collaboration.
