Last friday evening August 17th a massive fire broke out at Pioneer Flower Farms in St. Catharines, Ontario. The fire destroyed roughly 30 per cent of the facility. Some of the buildings are lost, including residences for the farm's off-shore workers and all there belongings. A collection has been organized for the dozens of migrant workers who lost everything in the fire.

The owners of Poineer Flower Farms are overwhelmed with all the support that they are getting. A local business set up a donation location asking for the community to help the immigrant workers. Specifically, organizers are looking for socks and underwear, toiletries and gift cards to places that sell the above (ie. Gaint Tiger, Walmart).
As this tragic greenhouse fire happend close by our office in Canada, we felt the need to reach out and help Pioneer Flower Farms. We provided Havecon t-shirts and $25 gift cards for necessities to 20 workers.
