Foundation works have started

There are many things you can say about the horticulture industry, but boring is not one of them. "We've seen ups and downs, but in the end there are a lot of positive things going around in the entire sector." according to Henk Verbakel.

This has resulted in a healthy growth in the last couple of years, internationally but also on Dutch soil. At the moment we are building greenhouses all around the country, from north through south. Thanks to this growth we have decided to build a new warehouse to further optimize our production and logistic processes

We were joined by Grandpa Verbakel: almost 97 years old and still in good health and spirit.

Last week the first foundation poles were hit into the ground. The warehouse will be over 7,200 m² with possibilities to expand. It is located very near the current office in Bleiswijk. The offices will remain at the old location at the Marconistraat. We hope to start using the new facilities at the end of 2016.
