MJBizCon 2018 Las Vegas
From 14th to 16th November 2018 the yearly MJBizCon exhibition took place in Las Vegas. This is the largest exhibition in the world aimed at the cannabis industry. This booming market attracts a lot of attention from people all over the world. This year, there were over 25,000 visitors and over 1000 exhibitors, including Havecon. This year's MJBizCon featured 150-plus speakers and more than 65 sessions. The exhibitors are spread out over nearly 175,000 square feet of floor space, up 137% from last year.
Exhibitors at the MJBizCon are active throughout the cannabis chain. Greenhouse builders, LED lighting, Growing systems, Growers, Packaging, Processing etc. With legislation going on, everyone wanted to be present this year to make sure they don't miss out. The result: a long line for the registration and crowded walkways with visistors looking for information.

At our booth, visitors were able to take a look at our brand new hologram. The hologram visualized how we build our greenhouses and how the construction is organized. Many visitors took the time to have a closer look at the hologram and had discussions how it was set up. People were attracted by the hologram, so it was never quiet at the Havecon booth!

Furthermore, people were given the opportunity to walk around in a virtual greenhouse with the use of a Virtual Reality Headset. This way, we want to show visitors what a greenhouse actually looks like from the in and outside. This was a great opportunity to show the current state of affairs without actually being in a greenhouse. In the virtual greenhouse, various options were visible for cultivation methods and the layout of the greenhouse and all other areas. Not everyone is up to date with the latest greenhouse technology, and with the use of our VR tour, we can easily explain important components.

The entire exhibtion was packed, over 25,000 visitors this year!
It has been a very succesful exhibition, where many companies from the Netherlands were present this year.
