Demers Inc.
The first update of project Demers! And what a project. As mentioned in the intro, more than 15 hectares in size and the future cultivation facility for no less than four vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and eggplants.
As a construction partner, we have not been idle, because the steel construction of the warehouse is already well underway. This is now over half. The heating installer in our subcontraction, JV (Voshol), has started laying the transport pipes.
The foundation of the greenhouse is planned within about a month.
Intergrow phase II
In the second phase of the Intergrow project, we are now at about 60% of the glazing of the deck. When this work is (almost) finished, a start is made with mounting the pushers for the air windows. We are going like a rock in the USA!
LG Flowers
In terms of construction, we have reached the final phase in Pijnacker (NL). Voorwinden will be busy finishing the greenhouse in the coming weeks. The first delivery will therefore not take long anymore.
Proplant
We are making good progress at Proplant in Jarvis, Canada. The construction of the greenhouse and glazing has been completed. JV Energy has started mounting the heating gables. Finally, the installation of the screening has also started and currently approximately 50% of this work is completed.
CHOK - Hilltop Leaf
Construction has now been completed in the Scottish highlands. The machines of Voorwinden left earlier this week and the finishing phase has started.
Pure Flavor 3
At our third expansion of Pure Flavor the glass arrived at the beginning of this week and the first windows went on already the next day!
In the boiler house JV Energy is working hard on commissioning the boiler.
JEM Farms phase 4/R&D
We have started with the foundation work at JEM phase 4! The concrete base is almost ready and the Voorwinden men have also started laying the foundation piles, about a quarter of which are currently completed.
In addition, we are busy with the concrete base foil and preparations are being made to start digging and installing the condensation pipe in about one week. But also the logistical preparations, being the supply of the building materials for the first steel construction, are progressing well.
As you can clearly see in the second photo on the right, the groundwork is now in full swing at the 'R&D' part of JEM. We hope to complete this within about two weeks, so that the foundation work can also start there.
Kwekerij Vereijken
In Someren in the Dutch province of Brabant, we will be putting the finishing touches to the construction and ventilation mechanism next week. In the meantime, the glazing is already in full swing and we will start with the gables in about a week and a half.
Geest Potplanten
For this new project in 's-Gravenzande in the Dutch Westland, we are working on the first preparatory work. The marking of the land has been completed, as well as the pressing of the piles. Finally, Voorwinden has started the concrete work and digging the drain.
Ruud and Hans Hendriks
The finishing phase of this new greenhouse for the cultivation of santini chrysanthemums from Ruud and Hans Hendriks has started. The first delivery will therefore take place in the short term.
Hoogweg 3 (greenhouse C and D)
The (steel) construction activity continues tirelessly in the Noordoostpolder! The first sub-project, greenhouse 3C, has already been completed for about three-quarters and the first glass will be on the deck within about a week and a half.
The start of the construction of the second sub-project, greenhouse 3D, is planned for week 15.
Greenbrothers VOF
Our new project for the cultivation of eggplants in Zevenbergen (NL) is currently still in full preparation, but the first work on the construction site will not be long in coming. The marking of the land will be done in about two weeks, followed by the piling and concrete work the week after.
House of Peppers
The glazing started last week and we are now on the right track
IJsselmuiden (NL). Work is also underway on the aluminum and the air mechanism and finally, PDI started working on the Svensson screening this week.
