Project update week 20: happy building!

Happy building at Havecon! All running projects in both North America and Europa in all their different phases are going very well. Read along with our projects and the phases there are in.

Ontario Plants Propagation (OPP)

We are starting again with our North American projects. The first is Ontario Plants Propagation (OPP). How fast we go in Canadian St. Thomas! The greenhouse construction is already in place. The photo on the right is only a few days old. Little glass is visible on it, but in the meantime the glazing is at full speed. Next week we hope to close it and also complete the air mechanism. How speed and quality can be combined together perfectly again!

Pure Flavor

Glazing, glazing, glazing at Pure Flavor! We hope to finish this work by the end of next week. The same applies to the installation of the underground transport (heating) pipes. Finally, a start was also made on the screening and the insect mesh/netting in the greenhouse.

JEM Farms

Preparations for the future 7.3 hectare tomato greenhouse are in full swing and are progressing well. 75% of the concrete work, the foundation, has been completed. Digging work for the rainwater discharge will start in about a week and a half. Finally, the concrete work for the warehouse will start next week.

RedSun

At RedSun, the greenhouse roof is ready to be glazed. When the glaziers have completed their work on the Pure Flavor project, expected to be in the middle of next week, they will proceed straight on to Kingsville, Ontario.

Hoogweg phase 1

On to our European works. Unbelievable how fast it goes at Hoogweg Paprikakwekerijen in Luttelgeest (NL)! Greenhouse 3A, the second greenhouse in the first phase, closed in terms of deck this week. An unprecedented achievement in how two greenhouses of a total of 24 hectares were build-up in just a few weeks. A big compliment for the men of Voorwinden and all subcontractors is certainly in order here!

Serres d'Isigny

As you can see in the photo on the right, construction has started in French Normandy! In the coming weeks, the greenhouse will be further completed and subsequent glazing started.

De Blackt/
Baanheidehof/
Krikato

These Belgian projects have all been completed and it is always nice to share some photos of what happens when we are gone. In this case De Blackt. Look (alongside) and enjoy!

Grootscholte/4 Evergreen

We are also making great strides in the Dutch provence of Zeeland! Construction is in full swing and the glaziers will be able to enjoy themselves here in the middle of next week.

Christianen

The delivery of Joris Christianen's greenhouse in Meerle in Belgium has been completed. The strawberry plants have now been planted and that is a good time to take some beautiful pictures. Have a look at the end result in the slideshow!

Reytec Ammerlaan Sosef

Glazing and more glazing in Honselersdijk in the Dutch Westland. In the past and next week, this will continue, the sandwich deck will be completed and the air mechanism will be installed. A start is also made with the sandwich gables.

Overgaag

New project! A 4.5 hectare pepper greenhouse for Overgaag Nurseries in Honselersdijk. This week we started pressing the posts. The concrete work is planned for next week. You can also follow this project 24/7 via the special project page. The link ou will fibelow.

CHOK - Beeswax

We conclude this update with yet another new project for Cambrigde HOK, CHOK for short, we may build a project called Beeswax in England. A 6.4 hectare strawberry greenhouse in Carrington, Lincolnshire. This week we started with the pressing of the posts and the concrete work. Naturally, a page has also been created on this site for this project.
